Dyeing silk is exploring color combinations and blending colors together similar to watercolor painting. After the silk has been through the dyeing process, each ribbon is individually sewn with contrasting threads.  The unique button clasps are made by either enamel applied on copper and fired in a kiln or etched and textured metals with patina and sealer.
