Etching metal took me by surprise. When approaching the medium, I was sure it would only be a way to texture metals to use as a background for my enamel work. I never dreamed that adding texture to metals would be so addictive. The results when juxtaposing the different metals and textures to create wearable creations have been a new and invigorating direction for me.
