Religious imagery in the Christian church has always had an influence in my life. Over time, I have become more engaged by the symbolism and history of Christian art. Most often, my art reflects a personal connection I have made with historical sacred images.
When not working on Christian art, I like to explore a variety of images and themes. My work includes mandalas, elephants, sunflowers, and insects. Creating cloisonne enamels on a vertical surface is a recent challenge I have undertaken. Another recent project has been recreating beetles found around the world in cloisonne on vintage and repurposed copper leaves.
